Farming in Paradise Valley, Montana should be considered an extreme sport. A short growing season coupled with unpredictable frost and high wind is nothing short of an uphill battle for any skilled farmer… enter Sage LeBlanc, a sixth generation farmer that ditched the rich soil and rainfall in Maine in search of rooting herself somewhere she could feel challenged. She refined her skills and honed in on her growing expertise in this difficult landscape through trial and error, and sleepless summers spent ensuring her community had the highest grade organic produce available locally.
